How it works

Add a widget
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, pick Ceres and place the widget you want in the size you want.

It updates itself
Widgets refresh when you add or change an entry; at midnight today’s allowance is worked out for the new day.

Act in one tap
Tap the plus on a widget to add an expense, scan a receipt or ask Ceres; the app opens on the right screen.

On iPhone, put today’s allowance, your next payment or a goal on your Lock Screen; a Live Activity sits in the Dynamic Island.
Questions, answered
Will my amounts show on the Home Screen?
If “Hide amounts” is on in Ceres, widgets show ••• instead of amounts too. When you sign out, the widgets empty.
Which widgets are there?
Budget, last 7 days, today, family, goals, recurring payments and quick actions; on iPhone also Lock Screen widgets and a Live Activity. Most come in more than one size.
Do widgets cost extra?
No, widgets come with every plan. They fill with your own data: the family widget once you set up a family, the goals widget once you add a goal.
